Live Senior Capstone

Nomi

Privacy-first ecommerce personalization engine that solves the cold-start problem for anonymous shoppers. 80–90% of ecommerce traffic never logs in — Nomi delivers a personalized "For You" feed from the very first click with no account, no cookies, no history required.

Watches behavioral signals in real time (clicks, scroll depth, dwell time, add-to-cart) and builds an ephemeral preference profile entirely on-device. The business outcome is CAC compression — every anonymous visitor who converts on visit one is recovered ad spend.

Autonomous paper trading agent combining RAG with live market data. Ingests 6,900+ chunks from investing books into ChromaDB, reasons via Claude Sonnet, and executes trades through Alpaca's brokerage API with risk guardrails.

Who I Am

Fisher Fraley

I'm a senior CS student at Cal Poly SLO graduating in June 2026. I build full-stack AI products and spend a lot of time thinking about the gap between what engineers ship and what customers actually need — which is why I gravitate toward roles where I'm in the room with both.

I've run 40+ customer discovery interviews for Nomi, sold SaaS automation tools at Trestle, and built autonomous agents that run 24/7 on DigitalOcean. I like working at companies where "technical" and "customer-facing" aren't separate jobs.

Starting as a Jr. AI Solutions Engineer at Kana AI in April 2026 — part-time while I finish my degree, full-time June 22nd.
